Guest guest
There's a musical scale- Saa Ray Gaa Maa Paa Daa Nee Saa Taa Naa Maa Raa Maa Daa Saa Saa Say So Hung The meditation that goes with it is called Kauree Kriya (sometimes spelled Kauri, or Gauri, etc). Basically you start out at a really low tone and with each sound you raise the tone until your voice goes as high as it can, this will take it through a couple of octaves. I don't have the instructions for the kriya handy, but that is the mantra. My understanding is that in Indian Raag they use the sounds Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Da Nee as a scale similarly to the Western use of the Do Re Me Fa So La Tee Do as a scale. Sa Ta Na Ma, and Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung are both mantras. All together this large mantra contains all sounds. Saa Ray Gaa Maa Paa Daa Nee Saa Taa Naa Maa Raa Maa Daa Saa Saa Say So Hung Gurunam has a recording of this on one of his CD's Sat Nam
