Guest guest
Sat Nam! Reading a transcription of a seminar taught by Yogi Bhajan in Rome (Handbook for psychologists in the Aquarian Age) there is a reference to " Bundle Kriya " and " Swan Kriya " . Is " Bundle Kriya " the techinique also known as " Bundle Roll " ? .....and is " Swan Kriya " the technique also known as " Meditation on the White Swan " (from Kundalini Meditation Manual for Intermediate students)? If not, can you please tell me where I can find them? Thank you in advance :-) Blessings! Sujan S.
Guest guest
Sat Nam Susan, I think I may have posted about this before... Swan Kriya, Sat Kriya and Bundle roll are three exercises recommended for all women by Yogi Bhajan. Swan Kriya is found in one of the " experience books " (Reaching Me in Me, Self-Experience, Self-Knowledge, etc... ) I don't remember which one, but it's part of a set in one of them, and no, it's not a separate meditation. It's a flowing bowing and flexing up from rock pose movement (like the neck movements of a swan). [i don't have my books on me at the moment, so I can't tell you which one and what page exactly at this time] -FS
Guest guest
There is a description of swan kriya or (hans kriya?)in p 135 in Open Your Heart With Kundalini Yoga. You can see it via this link: http://books.google.se/books?id=Zz7btPKnUxsC & pg=PA135 & lpg=PA135 & dq=%22swan+kriya\ %22 & source=bl & ots=U2QmEdpFW_ & sig=tusV8LXafLucOlaOVkrkdCQOYcE & hl=sv & ei=HzA6SuPOLY\ KqsAbJrPXXBg & sa=X & oi=book_result & ct=result & resnum=10 If link doesn't work go to http://books.google.com and enter " swan kriya " in search field. Guest guest
That also sounds a lot like Sarbhang Dande Kriya (expect for pressing on the toes?). I was under the impression that Swan Kriya was – basically the same thing – from the knees. Perhaps they are really the same thing and " Swan Kriya " from the knees as shown in the books is just a modification. I can't say since I wasn't at those W.C. classes. This area has (it seems) a slight lack of expansion and detail to it... Thanks for that Gurutej... (I heard a lot of good things about you at Solstice... -FS
