Guest guest
Hi, I introduced myself with a message about controlling breath around Jul. 22nd. I was introduced to Kundalini yoga through Gurmukh Khalsa's Prenatal and Postnatal DVDs. Now, I practice with DVDs of Kundalini that I get through Netflix, so far Maya Fiennes and Gurmukh. I practice Vinyasa style Hatha when I don't have a Kundalini DVD available. I want my yoga practice to be primarily in Kundalini style. I would like a serious practice that is authentic. However, there are no teachers at all anywhere near me. Another aspect of this is that I am a mother to two children 4 and 1. I am their 24 hour caregiver and I don't have much time that my attention isn't demanded by them. So, my focus is not such that I can do yoga from written instruction at the moment. What are the best resources available for an authentic and not watered down commercial version of Kundalini? I am also looking to discuss what my expectations should be for meditating and savasana while mothering small children. I don't want my yoga time to be stress filled because my children are dancing around me as I am trying to focus, so basically I need to know what my practice should look like at this stage in my life.
