Guest guest
Hi Sujan, I have a 1/2 cup jar of turmeric in my cupboard which says it contains 1.9 ounces, or 53 grams. So 1/4 cup would be half of that. Going by volume, the conversion from U.S. measure to metric is 1.0567 quarts = 1 liter, so (there being 4 cups to a quart) 1/4 cup would be about 66 ml. Turmeric varies a good deal in its phytonutrient content depending on growing conditions, so I doubt it's that exact. <s> A deeper yellow indicates higher potency, as a rule. Enjoy your golden milk! Take care and have a wonderful happy day, Sat Darshan Kaur :-) Kundaliniyoga , " Yoga Jap " <noi wrote: > > Sat Nam! > > I wanto to prepare the Golden Milk (my knees want it!!!) but I have a doubt > about the amount of turmeric. > > The recipe says " 1/4 cup " so I tried to see online how many grams > are.........but depending of the ingredient " 1/4 cup " can be 30 grams > (floor), 55 grams (sugar) etc. > > Can you help me? > > Thank you in advance! > > Blessings > > Sujan S. >
