Guest guest
Sat Nam! I'm preparing the classes for this week and I was thinking to meditate on 6 october to celebrate with my students the Mahasamadhi of Yogi Bhajan using " The Golden Temple Song " (Hail Hail Guru Ram Das and heal the world, Guru Guru Wahe Guru Guru Ram Das Guru - you can listen a sample here > http://www.spiritvoyage.com/yoga/Chantz-2-Impact-Earth/Guru-Singh/CDS-001056.asp\ x) since it is, to me, a really " smiling song " good to celebrate our beloved master. What do you think about it? It can be a good choice or do you think it is preferable (more appropriate) to use the " Guru Mantra " Guru Guru Wahe Guru Guru Ram Das Guru? Thank you for your advices! Blessings Sujan S.
Guest guest
Sat Nam, It is best to use the Guru Ram Das Mantra, which is known to create miracles, The Golden Temple song can be sung in Gurdwara afterwards, although it is a bit misleading. Guru Ram Das constructed the Sarovar tank with a solid mound in the middle where the temple was to be. The construction of the Golden Temple was under Guru Arjan. Loving Blessings, SS. Guest guest
Sat Nam, Sujan Singh ji - I would wholeheartedly say that using the " anthem-like " Hail Hail Guru Ram Das, Heal the World that Guru Singh recorded with the Miri Piri Academy Choir in Amritsar will be absolutely PERFECT. There was also an original " Golden Temple Song " that Guru Singh composed and introduced at the Guru Ram Das birthday Los Angeles celebration in 1972 ( " Who ever thought we could find a holy man who never put on 'airs' . . .) that Siri Singh Sahib ji said was " an immortal song " - and he awarded Guru Singh a cash prize on the spot, and stated that the Adi Shakti pin that he was wearing should be given to Guru Singh when his (SSSji's)life was over. (I don't believe that last will and bequest was ever completed, but it wasn't about materialism, the blessing was already given). And the Guru's Mantra would be perfect for a short time to close your meditation. Many prayers, many blessings to all - Guru Ram Das WILL heal this world, no matter how sad, sick and confused the world may seem today. It will happen.
