Anderson For a long time i was feeling sorry formyself because i thought i am

the only one wronged. The fact is thinking about it all the time is meditation

on a dysfunctional level. So what i did was i practice finding compassion and

love with myself and then carriedc that out to the ppl who wronged me. Yes of

course Meditation helps you with this and kriya aswell. I tend to think that if

we want to ellimnate evil from our lives we should bring positive aspect to us

by being Grateful for the wisdome that has bestow on us through wrong acts . Now

we can utilizise that and use it to our own discretion and Forgive others

including ourself

Anderson,

You don't need any meditation, and you rather don't do anything. You

may try using any special technique/kriya/meditation, and even you

will feel once that you forgive/achieve/gain/etc. But it will return

to you. If you gain something you will lose it again.

Accept yourself not forgiving him or her, and enjoy yourself. When you

hate you are still self and you will be same self if you forgive or

not forgive anyone. So, better enjoy yourself either forgiving or not.

This is actually mediation, as everything that you do is meditation as

long as you do it with awareness.

Give a try to this.

Best of luck,

Anderson,

Someone else will probably have a specific kriya or meditation for you. . . but

here's an idea. Do the healing meditation RA MA DA SA SA SAY SO HUNG, with the

specific intention to heal your wound and also bless and forgive the other.

I'm actually doing a 40-day Kirtan Kriya meditation for 40 days. I didn't think

about it! I didn't know it would be good to deal with resentment. I was doing it

for 11 minutes but all of a sudden I felt like doing it for 31 minutes.

I've finished a 40-day RA MA DA SA just a month ago. Maybe I should go back to

it with the specific intention to forgive and heal the wounds as mentioned here.

Thank you all for your kindness in answering.

I had a situation that I've had trouble getting past, repeating the same tired

old negative thoughts in my head, and one kriya that really helped is,

" Eliminating Inner Anger " , which is available as a Yogi Bhajan dvd or in the

" Toolbox for the Human Body " book. When you get to the pounding parts, really

let it rip and and have a monster tantrum!Tremendously releasing and

cathartic!Gets you unstuck and the energy moving. Different stuff came up just

about every time I did this- the last time, I realized I was angry at myself

also for the part I played in it. Repeating wahay guru a few times when idle

thoughts stray to the negative, really works; try some meditations to remind you

of your timelessness- Guru Ram Das chant, ungali pranayam, and you've already

done ra ma da sa, a great soother.

Sat Naam,

There's a wonderful meditation for forgiveness on page 52 in Mukta Kaur Khalsa's

book " Meditations for Addictive Behavior " . http://super-health.net/
