Guest guest
Sat Nam! So, today driving home from visiting family I was listening to Speaking of Faith on NPR. They were talking to Doris Taylor about stem cells, research, and all the topics surrounding that when they began to talk about how it applies in our personal spiritual experience. Doris Taylor said that she has conducted research that showed that activities like meditation, prayer, and other things that decrease stress in our bodies actually increase our stem cells which in turn can be sent to the places in our body that needs repair. It can actually help us to age less quickly as well. Here is the link http://speakingoffaith.publicradio.org/programs/2009/stem-cells/ I have been doing the Maya Fiennes DVD and she talks in it about our bodies having everything they need (their own medicine) and all we need to do is tap into it. That is what Kundalini Yoga does for us. Doris Taylor talked about our bodies in much the same way as it pertains to stem cells being the regeneration (medicine) our bodies are born with. I just keep finding this yoga more and more amazing. I was so happy to hear them refer to meditation and such as a spiritual technology. I also believe that I am being shown these things at this time for a reason. It is all building. Be blessed, Love to all, Light to all, Peace to all, Kelli
Guest guest
Thank you for sharing this. As a very new student of Kundlalini yoga this has a powerful place and purpose in my life. Health and healing in ones own body sounds so natural and less invasive than the modern method of invasive procedures whether by medicine or surgery. I have been taken up another level in awareness, and YES! WE are all here right were we are supposed to be. You sharing this confirms it. Love and light to all.
