I love having a place to turn to for answers. Being new to kundalini and yoga,

I'm fascinated by (excuse me for being blunt) how my sex life has improved. My

boyfriend hopes I never quit my yoga classes....lol. If this just an immediate

response, being a new experience and my body's way of initial reaction....please

tell me it won't go away! *grin*

Hi Jeanna,

I debated sending this because it is so very personal, but then I thought, we

are all here to help one another, and If this will indeed help you, than a

little bit of embarrassment and un-easiness for me is a small price to pay. I

am just very private on certain things, and cannot talk easily about them... So

I will do my best.

OK here goes....

Prior to my kundalini I had NO sex drive for years. Over 10 years.

I read every book on the subject, watched every OPRAH show on the subject..lol

and never could find a physical problem that gave me the answer. I did have

some very personal emotional issues that I contributed to this problem, from my

past, but none the less ....it was a very difficult thing to live with for

obvious reasons. And my poor husband. For us to be intimate, the moon would

have to be aligned with mars , practically.(joking of course, but that is how he

probably felt looking back on things) And I did try out of obligation to be a

dutiful wife and maintain somewhat of a semi-normal sex life, but it was a very

strained relationship. However when my kundalini was awakened last November,

my libido went into complete overdrive. I did not know what in the world was

happening to me, or why it was happening. It was just such a dramatic

difference, that I attributed it to this nutritional beverage that I had began

drinking around the same

time. When I shared this very private experience with a few of my friends,

that I thought it was this beverage that changed my sex drive, this stuff began

flying off the shelves....lol So I don't think I was alone with my low libido.

My husband was just like your boyfriend and could NOT believe the changes and

was buying cases of this beverage! lol It became a joke around our house. To

get to my point..I can be so long winded at times.... It has been 8 months and

my libido has not diminished at all. I hope this serves as a source of

encouragement and comfort to you. I was fearful of the exact same thing, of

going back to my old way. Now mine is a bit too much at times and that can be

a bit un-nerving as well, but I have been assured that will diminish in time,

and just learning to embrace this and accept it as a complete blessing.

Balance is the key for me, so when something goes too far in one way, I get a

bit concerned.

Hope this helps ease your mind and gives you some peace and comfort.

Good luck with everything,

Sharon

Thank you all for your responses, on group and private. I'm glad I'm not the

only one who has experienced this. I assumed it had something to do with the

" opening of the hips and root chakra " as my yoga instructor calls...but Wow! Me

and my partner have a great relationship, of five years now, and we've always

had a good sex life. But recently, even he's amazed at how things have changed.

And the only thing I could attribute it to was yoga, and meditation. So -

HooZah!!

I would also like to get my boyfriend into yoga class, just because he has back

and hip problems, and I know it would help him so much. Can anyone give me

suggestions on some basic poses that could help, to maybe get him started at

home! Or recommend a good video to buy?

Hello,

I am a newbie at kundalini. I love what I have read/learned. I have a few

books, dvds and have worked on them. However, I'd really like to have a

class in person. Is there anything near (about 1 hr) from either Rochester,

MN, LaCrosse WI, or Eau Claire WI? Please say yes. Even if it is a kundalini

practitioner who would like to work together.

Thanks,

Shaun
