Dear Anderson,

 

I dont know what Guru Rattana said or not.

But in pursual for spirituality, one need not ask anything. Have faith, be

patience and you will get everything you need at the right time to pursue your

goals.

So one of the first thing that you should do is, ask yourself one question.

Why are you born as human being?

I mean to say, you could have been born as a dog or lion or insect or bird or

what not? If you have got the Human body, then there is a very big reason behind

it. what it is? What is your goal being a human?

or you can intrepret this question as, WHat is your spiritual goal?

All your earthly/materialistic goals will never end, you may finish one, then

another one will start. You finish one class, then there is further classes

ahead, there is no end to it But spiritual goal a definitive end. What it is

according to you? and is it your goal?

if yes, then what are you doing to achieve it?

 

For all your earthly goals given to you, you will be given the resources, one

should not worry about them. When you will be spiritually strong then all these

worries will go away and you  will understand it better.

What i will recommend is that you should have your spiritual goal in mind when

you do meditation.

One needs a goal to do something, in this sense Guru rattana is right.

You don't eat without need, do you? you dont sit in the tiolet without need, do

you? Everything that we do or we should do, should have a reason behind it or

has a reason behind it which we may not know right away and we understand it

with the passage of time.

If you dont know/or not sure of your spiritual goal then you should meditate to

understand or learn this. Everything happens for a reason. Remember this.
