Guest guest
Sat Nam everybody I want to do Karani Kriya to help with my core identity but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. All of the information I've seen says to keep the fingers straight and touch the tips of my index and middle fingers together, but I can't do that without putting my hands at an angle or bending my middle finger (I have really long middle fingers). Is it more important to keep the fingers straight or to keep the tips touching? Thanks in advance for your help Jessie
Ms. Jyoti Baba
A great question - since Kundalini Yoga was always taught as the "science of angles" and triangles it is more essential to keep the form and alignment of the mudra. Somewhere, someone wrote these directions as best they could, but in a confusing manner and it has stayed this way ever since. If the two extended fingers point towards each other, only the middle finger will actually touch. Yet the angle of the mudra is clear and creates a clear energy for the meditation. Please try it this way and the Kriya will feel wonderful. - Lea / PRANA MANDIR Yoga
