Guest guest
Welcome, Tom! Your initiation into Kundalini sounds somewhat like Chrism's, and he can tell you are lucky not to have been locked up in a mental asylum. I'm glad you weathered the initial storm and are back to 'normal,' if we folks in the midst of K awakening can be called normal! You will find this a most agreeable place to be, with lots of loving people willing to share their experiences and their hearts. Guest guest
Hi Tom, Welcome, welcome.I had a very rough K awakening after 2 weeks of Tantra in Hawaii and was totally alterd and terrified for 2 months after that. Nothing looked the same at all although my brain knew the things I was looking at were, indeed, the same ones I had always seen, and I shook so hard and so long my body was constantly sore. I had burning, very uncomfortable heat that would come in flashes all over my body and up my spine and my hands often felt as if the palms were holding burning coals. (I developed pretty good healing skills later) All this and I had never even heard the word Kundalini and so was totally alone with what felt like a psychotic break without information. However all is well, much, much more than well now and I am deeply committed to the K and surrender to whatever (sometimes bizzare according to my mind) things it directs me towards. I rasied 2 kids and a series of foster kids as all this was happening so know the difficulties there. Again, welcome to this wonderful group and the Chrism's careful guidance. I have known and assisted with many people but have never been so impressed with what they are/were doing as I am by Chrism. I hope this does not turn out too long! My name is Tom, I am from Ireland and I had a partial Kundalini awakening one year ago after using 'brainwave entrainment' software, one night. The next morning I could not walk - I had lost my balance and muscular co-ordination head to toe. It got worse and I was brought into hospital. As you can guess, the doctors were stumped and after exhausting all avenues of thought put it down to a viral infection (such are the limitations of the Western Medical model!). I had most of the classic symptoms of an awakening and, indeed, even met a native American spiritual guide in another reality who explained that I had been to the 8th? chakra of non-dualistic awareness, which was subsequently confirmed by a shaman friend of mine. I made a full recovery over a few months by diet, acupuncture and Qigong practice (and plenty of rest). Guest guest
Wow Sherri, that's amazing. I can't imagine going through that without any prior knowledge of Kundalini. (I've read a number of similar instances, but it still amazes me.) I'm so glad that things are better for you now. And, as everyone else has said, welcome to the group Tom. The " dooms day prophecies " are of interest of me too. In the past, I've assumed that the apparent increase of natural disasters were caused by the global news networks, pounding the news into our ears non stop, 24 hours per day. I'm fairly cynical of much of what I read on the internet, but I've learned to believe in the people here. I'd like to hear opinions on this also.. Thanks and blessings to the group.. Hi Brian, I used the Brainwave Generator (http://www.bwgen.com/ <http://www.bwgen.com/> ) and the programme I was listening to was, I think, 'Meditation (deep)' which brings your brainwaves from 8hz down to 4hz over about 20 minutes. I had tried it a couple of times before and got electrical shocks and jolts under my fingernails and other places. But this time around, I had weaned myself off anti-seizure drugs (I had had a grand-mal seizure a year before without warning [connected to everything, again I am sure]) and there was nothing to dampen the subsequent activity in the temporal lobes of my brain, so I took off, so to speak. If you can imagine 20 years of meditation in one night! Aside from the fact that I could not walk for two weeks, the Doctors found that the myelin sheath (insulation of the nervous system), had been damaged and in some parts completly stripped away. The analogy I like to use is of a small copper wire that takes on too much of an electrical load which melts the insulation. Basically, I fried my circuits. Be warned!! > you've been to the edge of world, in a matter of speaking; quite a > frontier but I fear that for most of us, it will get much worse before > it gets better. unless you are into spirit possession, colonization > and abduction scenarios or interventionist theology of course. It will get much worse, but only depending on how you look at it. If you examine life purely on the physical level, as most on this list probably don't, then things will be very bleak indeed. However, from a spiritual point of view, we are faced with an evolutionary development of the entire human species, I hope. I think part of this process will be the whittling down of numbers, so make sure you are in the chosen few when it happens. ;-). A friend of mine explained to me that it is not important who lives or who dies, once you realize we are spirit and come to terms with our physical mortality, death is unimportant. That changed my perspective a little. Although I have a long way to go before I understand this at not only the cognitive level, but in every part of me. I wouldn't rule out abduction scenarios or interventionist theology either for that matter. Who knows? Tom...

Guest guest
Tom, I've used bwgen and in fact that same program, but never with the same radical sort of effect you've experienced. Honestly I've had mixed results with these sorts of things. The propensity for seizure might not be a good thing to combine with these technologies in the future, though it's a very " grey area " there may be real and currently unknown dangers, but I'm no neuroscientist so take my opinion as such. my interpretation is that the 'shocks and jolts' are predecessors of seperation of awareness of the " energy body " from that of the physical body not unlike the experience of OOBE travellers. I think your analogy about the nervous system is dead-on (sorry for the pun). that said, I think it's incorrect to consider it the " soul " , I think of it more as the interfacing mechanism between physical and nonphysical. which means (by my interpretation) it's quite possible to seriously affect or damage the connection by physical actions and/or devices. and I stand firm in my intuition that there are fields and forces our technologies are playing with which can have just such effects, despite their ubiquity and seeming beneficence. as far as the 'evolutionary' side goes, several years back I would have totally agreed with you but nowadays anything that reads elitist fails the smell test with me. if anything, I believe that 'evolution' is trying to evolve past itself, hence past the necessity of the cycle of birth and death, at least this is from my own perspective and understanding. this will be the choice of the individual, and there will be no collective awakening, just a return to an earlier state of consciousness, while the invisible hierarchies incarnate in place of the spiritual egos, allowing evolution to try again and again. -brian

Overall, the experience has had a deep effect on me spiritually, physically and emotionally and it was mostly to the good, although I have somewhat dropped back into the drudgery of daily life - three small children tend to do that sometimes! Meanwhile, my development seems to be humming along quietly in the background with occasional lucid and causal-type dreams. I continue with my Qigong practice and read extensively on varied subjects (it gets a little frenzied when I am reading 6 or 7 books at once and I have to rein myself in a bit). Of particlar interest to me at the moment, and all connected I am sure, are the increase of individuals having experiences like those I myself have had, the 'speeding-up' of life, recent global disasters and events, and indiginous cultures and religions prophecying doomsday/a period of global spiritual advancement and evolution (depending on your outlook, I suppose). Anyway, I continue to look for answers and hope to engage with like- minded, interesting people in this group. Cheers, Tom...
Guest guest
Hi Chris & All, Same here, am new to this group..I have my own with old friends & classmates from High School, when going thru the site, accidentally came across Chrism's KAS-1. My first Kundalini experience was many years ago while sitting doing my meditation. The tingkling sensation just went up & down from the base of my spine to the head, also gave me a tremendous blissful feeling, that I thought.; God this sure beats SEX... (doesn't mean I dont like sex, but it would be nice to have a partner of the opposite sex who is experienced with these awareness), I think the masters would probably call it Kundalini Sex... IT WILL BE LIKE HEAVEN ON EARTH. Everytime one can experience pure bliss from his/her own meditation, is I think the first step to one's full kundalini awareness, and eventual ENLIGHTENMENT... chancebodhi (arap_8) chghes1 <chghes1 wrote: Hello everyone I am new to this group and would like to say hello and give some background on myself . My kundalini was awakened about one year ago as I was doing my daily meditation practice . I really didn't know much about this energy and was not trying to cause an awakening at the time . I was meditating sitting on the floor for about fifteen minutes when I had an sudden rush of energy that almost felt as though I fell from a waterfall or such and had no way of centering myself from falling deeper into this meditation . I was frighten and was trying to just pull myself up and regain control from what was happening . I stood up and open my eyes very quickly when all I seen was this extremely bright white light . I lost my breath instantly and fell to my couch . I started to slowly bring myself back to the room after I fell and waited a few before reopening my eyes again . Over the course of a week I had most symptoms that our found on many websites that I researched to find out what was happening to me . I have to say thanks to everyone that brings helpful information regarding this wonderful experience . Guest guest
Dearest Chancebodhi - Welcome, welcome, welcome! Is there such thing as coincidences? When I activated in June of this year I eventually felt a similar thought as you....this is BETTER than sex! Well, dear friend, it gets better and better and better, to a point sex is really out of the league! Yes, I agree with you, it would be wonderful to have a partner who is experienced in this awareness....indeed Heaven! Much Love, Becky " R. Guest guest
Fascinating experience. This waterfall sensation seems familiar. I can lay in bed and close my eyes, and get a sensation of falling fast. I am new to these concepts (the Kundalini, etc...), and am here to learn more about it. Thanks for sharing and welcome!
