Guest guest
Sat Nam, Yogiji gave several distinctions re eating meat and being vegetarian. Three I recall are‹we do not eat anthing that has a face, we do not eat anything that can get away from us and we do not eat anything that has a mother. I have always loved animals, and would not think of eating my dogs, chickens, bunnies and lamb. But when I was a child, it was normal to eat meat and I felt no aversion. The difference in my consciousness about meat has everything to do with my practice of kundalini yoga and meditation. And although I use and appreciate sheepskins, when a pet wooly Babydoll lamb dies or an Angora rabbit, I respect their remains and have no desire to harvest their wool.
