Guest guest
Sat Nam Ji, A group here in Bolivia (SEVA) has begun to work with young adults and teens that live on the streets of La Paz and are adicts. I moved here from Espanola, NM to help this program and we already had our first KY class at a Rehab Center where a group of 23 of these kids have already progressed into what I would call " phase 2 " . They don't live on the street any more and they aren't inhaling the disolvent (clefa) either. But we need more Teachers, because the demand is extremely high and ideally these kids should get 2 daily classes, plus a whole diet program, as we know, to support the detoxification process. Someone who would want to supervise the kitchen would be helpful too! With 900+ members in this group, I thought that maybe there could be some out there that feel the call to serve and help where it is so bitterly needed, or maybe you know someone that might want to do this. We can certainly teach you how to say " inhale " and " exhale " in Spanish! (Smile) Also, let me tell you that with just $500 a month you can live here in very good shape. From my personal experience I can only say: this is an amazing way to expand in compassion, love, devotion, service and consciousness. In our beloved Teachers words: " If you serve yourself, that is Karma; if you serve others, that is Dharma. " Yogi Bhajan Please get in touch with me if you would like to help and be of service this way or for more information. We would love to have you here with us in Bolivia! Sat Nam.
