Guest guest
Yogi Bhajan came to our house for my 120th day celebration in 1989. He had us chant the adi shakti mantra and clap our hands with the mantra moving the arms from back to front where you clap in front of your heart center. This way of doing the mantra creates a lot of energy. The pregnant mother sits in the middle of a circle in a decorated space and the sangat sits around her. All the focus is on the mother, that is why we dont do this chant in front of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib because then all the focus would be with the Guru. You could end the chanting with a prayer for the mother and child and hold the intention for them being healthy, happy and holy etc. "The purpose of knowledge is to develop infinite faith in self"- Yogi Bhajan YB Teachings, LLC Kirnkirnkhalsawww.yogasantafe.com
