USA Today: Does Maya calendar predict 2012 apocalypse?

Everyone has an opinion on 2012, as written below in USA Today. I agree with the late Yogi Bhajan, who said 2012 marks the beginning of new age, in which the Earth will rise in the Aquarian constellation for the next two thousand or so years, versus the past two thousand years, when the constellation at sunrise was Pisces. But more than a new constellation is in play with this change of ages. This time Earth comes into alignment with the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way. Combine that with reports on increased energy bursts Earth is receiving from the Sun (the main cause perhaps, compared to CO2 release, for our modest global warming), and perhaps there's more to the 2012 story.Further, this new age may mirror what Pinchbeck says below, but with more yoga and meditation, and entreprenuerial creativity. Yogi Bhajan called this new age the "Age of Experience." A Catholic Priest friend of mine

Wow - this article blows me away. Especially the part about the earth

aligning with the center of the galaxy for the first time in 26,000

years. The reason it blows me away is because of a very personal

experience that I had once when sitting and talking with the Siri

Singh Sahib during the time we were working on translating Japji

Sahib.

 

I'm a little nervous about putting this in writing - because some

things are very personal. But my heart is telling me to share it -

so - with your blessings - I will.

 

I can't remember exactly how the topic came up, but the Siri Singh

Sahib was trying to explain to me the changes that were going to

happen as we shifted into the Age of Aquarius. It was less a verbal

experience tand more one of those moments with the Master - where he

took me into a transcended experience of time and space.

 

What he said - as I recall - and I am paraphrasing here - is that the

earth was going to align with the center of the galaxy. And then the

center of the galaxy was going to communicate with the sun. And from

that communication, the electromagnetic field of the earth would

change. And when the electromagnetic field of the earth changed, it

would impact the electromagnetic field of the human - and that was

how we were going to become " sensory beings " in the Age of Aquarius.

 

But his words had far less impact than what happened. When I was

sitting with him, and he was describing it, it was like he took me

into the galaxy with him. And I could feel the center of the galaxy -

like it was right there next to me. And I could feel the sun on the

other side of me. And all the planets where there in the room with

us. I could practicaly see them - how they were all moving, and how

they were all influencing each other - and then how all of those

heavenly bodies were influencing and vibrating and beaming in

relation to planet earth. I could feel what that was going to do to

the electromagnetic field of the entire planet - and therefore to our

own (tiny tiny tiny) electromagnetic field.

 

So this notion of 2012 - and I had never read before today about the

earth lining up with the center of galaxy -but it is what the Siri

Singh Sahib said and what he showed me in the space. This notion of a

huge change isn't necessarily an apocolypse. It's just that the

frequency of the planet will change - and we have to have a

discipline to change with it. And minus that discipline, people are

going to fall apart and freak out. It's already happening. We're

going to enter another dimmension where time and space and the

material world are just going to be different. How it all works. The

rules that run it. It will be different.

 

Well - you all know that - but I'm just sharing my experience here.

 

That's why Kundalini Yoga is so available today - when it's been held

in secret for thousands of years. Because when the frequency change

comes - we need a technology to re-adjust the nervous and glandular

systems. Thinking and talking about the changes are not going to help

us shift our frequency. We need a technology that can go in at the

cellular level and raise everything a notch to keep up with how the

magnetic field will change. Otherwise, the shift in the magnetic

field of the earth is going to tear us apart from the inside.

 

It's serious times, really.

 

So all of you teachers out there - you are so needed. And have been

called in from the heavens at this time to help give humanity a

chance to ride through the change. For the Siri Singh Sahib, the date

the shift happens is November 11, 2012. 11/11. The day of the Siri

Guru Granth Sahib. Because that frequency given by Guru Nanak through

Guru Gobind Singh is a frequency to help all people - whether they

are Sikhs are not - in this New Age.

 

And that is the truth as I have understood it. Thank you for blessing

me to share this experience with you.

 

May your days be filled with light and love. May you ride the wave as

the heavenly bodies communicate with each other. And may we always

remember how tiny we are, how brief our lives, and what a miracle it

is to be here at this time - in service to one another.

Being new to this group and being in my late 60's and never until now have I been able to connect with others on this path. Always being out of step with family and everyone around me, never having a way to verify anything especially my own 'knowings', your post is indeed a blessing for me. I have been wondering if there is any one place where all Yogi Bhajan's remarks, understandings and what he has said to individuals about 2012 have been gathered together in place so that one (and particulary new people) can read it in total. This would greatly facilitate one's understanding of the path and what each one of us needs to do at this point in time. If there is no such gathering of information, perhaps it
