Guest guest
Sat Nam, Since I have been posting a few items recently, I was encouraged to introduce myself. I am a natural healing specialist here in Eugene, Oregon, where I serve as the herbalist for the Yogi Tea Company. I mentored with Yogi Bhajan in natural medicine, with a specialty in herbs, for over 30 years. At Yogi Bhajan's direction, I founded the Yogic Herbs Company (the " R " formulas), about 25 years ago, from where I lived for 30 years, Seattle, Washington. While living there, I founded Seattle's first alternative health clinic, Khalsa Health Center, where I had my herb and nutritional consultation practice. I write extensively, and have written over 1,000 health articles for magazines, including Herb Quarterly, Herbs for Health, Let's Live, Better Nutrition, Alternative Medicine and many others. I have written or edited 30 books. The latest I just finished. Look for " The Way of Ayurvedic Herbs " to be on the shelves soon. I do some teaching around the country in my extra time. These days, I'm teaching a lot of Ayurvedic Massage. Perhaps we'll see each other around one of these days in our travels. My teaching organization (International Integrative Educational Institute) offers extensive professional training courses, including our professional herbalist training course. Our website is about to unveil a big upgrade. Look for the new and improved version of the International Integrative Educational Institute website very soon. I do offer personal consultations in person, when I am in a city teaching. I also offer phone consultations for your convenience. Feel free to use my office to serve your needs. Give us a call at (541) 242-3314. Wishing you all the best, Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa
