Sat nam, ji.

I've been asked how 3HO's advertised international kundalini yoga

can help raise awareness, attendance and support for

workshops with the group's 940 worldwide members.

There are two answers to this.

First, invite your friends who are teachers or students to join, with

a simple email to " Kundalini-Yoga- " . The

more yogis that join, the easier it becomes to receive or send info on

events, ideas, goods or services. You have to help with this process,

by inviting your yogi friends to join. If you don't perform some seva

to make this forum work, it won't work for you.

Second, make your posts more interesting. Instead of just posting the

details of an event, try including why your event is so wonderful. How will it

help a yogi reach his or her destiny? What else can a

yogi do in your area to make your workshop merely part of a

comprehensive weekend? What yogic therapists can a yogi visit during

your weekend? What tourist attractions await in your region? What

did Yogi Bhajan say about what you're involved in? How did you get

the idea to organize the workshop? What are some testimonials from

past clients of yours, that attest to your quality? Use your

creativity, pretend you're speaking to an eager new teacher. Meditate

on the task and have fun!

If you follow these two suggestions - bringing your friends into the

and infusing creativity into your posts - you will raise

more awareness via this group for your retreats.

Now here's a challenge:

Summer Solstice (http://www.3ho.org) is only 3 months away, and your

almost has 1,000 worldwide members. Why don't you forward

this email NOW to your students and fellow teachers, inviting them to

join? We started this group last April. Let's get 1,000 members by

Solstice, OK?

Good luck, and wahe guru!
