I do not want to be too long winded but in answer to your question, I believe the person who started and supports this group is NOT a Sikh..I am not and know wonderful people who I truly admire for their commitment who are..and definitely there are degrees to which we all benefit from the practice and Yogi Bhajan as a teacher. A cult controls who goes in and out and these people, though they may have certain judgments because they are human, accept us non-cultists I believe!! Yogi B supposedly did sun salutes before sets too and so some teachers do that..I agree with you, as I wrote in my previous post, that mixing something in the middle of a Kundalini set other than Kundalini just doesn't work!! I have also been told that several of the leading and more well known Sikh Kundalini teachers practice hatha and ashtanga as well...separately from their Kundalini I would presume.
