While I have not been with this group for long and I haven't looked at

all the previous posts, I have not seen much laughter, 'ya know, funny

experiences you had with Yogi Bhajan or anyone else in the group or at

teaching seminars etc.

So here's my Sunday experience, and some tips -- I read in " First

Magazine " that a person can condition their hair by taking 1/2 cup of

olive oil, warming it for 30 seconds in the microwave (do not boil)

and then saturating their hair with it, then putting a plastic wrap or

bag over the hair and wrap a towel around it all and go play with the

computer or something for 54 minutes. So, I did that. Its Sunday and

I am home alone.

At 54 min more or less, I made a cup of coffee using real coffee

grounds (Folgers single serving), then I poured the coffee down the

drain and used the grounds to exfoliate my face. It seems that coffee

grounds are the right pH balance for skin (I got this recipe, care of,

Dr. Susan Lark's newsletter promo piece).

(http://www.drlark.com/c/hc_skin.asp) It works and your skin will feel

wonderful, a woman friend of mine is using it too.

Since, I read, in the Teacher Training, Level 1, Textbook, that oiling

oneself with Almond Oil before the Cold shower is very good for the

skin, I oiled myself while filling the bathtub with HOT water and put

in my Magnesium Bath salts (

http://www.life-enthusiast.com/index/Brands/Twilight/Products:_Magnesium_Supplem\

ents

) most people don't get enough magnesium and the body will 'slurp'

this up in 20 minutes.

ALL WENT REALLY WELL, good soak, washed hair, really enjoyed

myself---couldn't get out of the tub, somehow managed to work a towel

under my knees and then my feet. Now, I have to tell, the owner, of

the house, who will be taking a shower at 6-am tomorrow that he better

have a towel under his feet and don't ask me why (at 6'3 " 280lbs if he

fell he could take out this entire 80 year old house) and I don't want

to explain anything to the fire department.) Hey! Its not just me. (I

have a friend that recently stopped up the bathtub drain with rose

petals, even I know that you have to take those out before draining

the tub)

hummmmmm I wonder if I have lost credibility putting this in, oh well,

onward and forward

I am going to share my REALLY good idea for making MONEY, everyone

wants to make more money. Right!

In the US, at least in the state of Washington, there is a Sunday

cartoon of a dog and cat that talk to each other. So the dog comes

running up-to the cat and asks WHAT TIME IS IT? The cat says NOW.

Look! And the cat, points to his wrist watch which has one hand

pointing to the word NOW. Then, the cat says " Its never been wrong " !

Do any of you remember the Pet Rock Craze? Everyone in the US had to

have a PET ROCK, and they bought them! People went crazy for them,

you even saw them on desks at work, ----weeelllll---I think NOW

WATCHES will be bigger, something the world is ready for! I'd love to

have a Now watch. Wouldn't you?

YES! HA HA HA HO HO HO... There is a quote: "HE WHO LAUGHS, LASTS!" I love that one, and am thankful for your post bringing in a lighter nature to the postings. I too would love a 'now watch'. Yes as a reminder for me, but also for the opportunity to show others when thet ask what time it is! I have only been practicing Kundalini Yoga for a year now (which has been awesome), anyhow I remember in one kriya we laughted for 3mins or so. Which was weird at the time, but now since I have done LAUGHTER YOGA http://www.laughteryoga.org/ I'm more aware of it's benefits! Has anyone else tried it? IT IS SOOO POWERFUL! It's all about re-discovering your inner child, and connecting with the group (eye-contact) and of course "leting go" Sat Nam and enjoy rObert"We are different frequencies of the same SOURCE"

Hi Robert, It's great to have people laugh in class. Usually I have

them laughing while lying on their backs so it's not as intimidating.

Sounds like how you do it is different. It sounds interesting.

Actually the final exercise in the structure of a LAUGHTER YOGA CLASS is laying on ones back and just letting go! The honest laughter that comes out is an increadible experience! Not to mention the core workout, and some tears! It is indeed less intimidating, as you just hear everyone else and have your own imagination to play and dance in! As I mentioned laughter in a serious exhale exercise so very detoxifying. and FUN! MAY 6th is WORLD LAUGHTER DAY! So weather in a formal class or not, have a laugh and melt some stress away! When my students are a bit intimidated by laughing out loud in class,

I have them on their backs by inviting everyone's head on someone's

belly, only one head per belly. The first person does not have her/his

head on anyone's belly and the last does not have anyone's head on

their belly.

The motions of belly soon get everyone involved.

Blessings, Awtar Singh

Sat Nam. Just for the record, in case some of viewers of this site don't know, in the Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, although there is indeed an exercise in a kriya in which the students lie on their backs, and laugh out loud for one minute,, however, he did not have people touch one another in any way --- so whatever is being taught in LAUGH OUT LOUD classes (which are probably a lot of fun! )-- I just trust that they are not labeled as Kundalini Yoga! (Only in the Venus Kriyas that Yogi Bhajan taught, do people touch one another.) Some time ago I recall reading about very popular classes, in India, I believe, where people went just to laugh! Yogiji said that in order to be sane, there are two things you have to do every day, one is to sweat and the other is to laugh. SP
