Dear ,

As I read your post, I was reminded of a very, ver-r-r-r-r-r-y brief

moment of amazing that Yogiji / Siri Singh Sahib ji sponsored at Guru

Ram Das Ashram in Los Angeles, one Sunday evening many years ago. As

a fleeting commentary, it resonated with me personally in a very deep

way, which is (I'm sure) why I have an almost photographic memory of

the experience.

There was a low teacher's bench at the front of GRD Ashram, where

Yogiji sat when he taught, and where we sat to teach yoga classes

(sitting in " that " seat to teach a class was like sitting on a " real

throne " ). But on this evening, an old, old man, as swami (probably

the head of his lineage, perhaps Shakti ji may know more) visiting

from India was sitting on the teacher's bench, and Yogiji was sitting

on the floor with the rest of us, and listening.

This small, deeply aged teacher was telling us about ancient

prophecies within Vedanta (there are four Vedas) that one day, a

final, " Fifth Veda " would be manifested. The prophecies he spoke of

said it would be known as the Siri Veda ( " Siri, " as we know, means

" Perfected " ). At this point he was speaking in a deeply engaged,

almost oracular way, as if to deliver an important message for the

future humanity. And what he told us was that those prophecies had

been fulfilled, and that THE SIRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB IS THE " SIRI "

(FIFTH) VEDA.

Within the orthodox world of " religion " (loaded with spiritual

politics and factional competition), his message would perhaps be met

with ridicule, but the truth of the vibrations in which he spoke,

resonated with the Truth. The Siri Veda of Siri Guru Granth Sahib

completely reflects the evolutionary moment in which, through Guru

Nanak's gift of human enlightenment, OM got transformed into EK ONG

KAR, by which we don't have to go off searching in some never, never

land of Infinity in order to find the truth, neither do we have to

rely on priests or brahmins to find the truth, because we are

inseparably one and the same as the Truth, exactly where we are in our

own world. And thus, on the day Guru Nanak uttered and expressed " Ek

Ong Kar, Sat Nam, Karta Purkh . . ., " that was the day the world

changed forever, and man (and woman) kind were liberated for following

or bowing to masters who walk on two legs. We must become the masters

we've been waiting for. And that will be all we will ever need.

Tnank you for opening this door of conversation, . This is the

realization that " I Lean " on.

for many Blessings,

Krishna Singh

Sat Nam folks,

Regarding the Siri Ved, Yogiji also told my brother-in–law, Siri Ved Singh, in 1974 that he had the knowledge and wisdom to write the Siri Ved.

Siri Ved Singh never did, but it has been on his mind. If we all encourage him he may begin to record some of the vast knowledge of the teachings he has within his perfect memory.

Loving Blessings,

Guruprem Kaur

Dear Krishna Singh

That's an interesting comment about the (5th) Veda being the Siri Guru Granth Sahab. I am not that familiar with the whole text but after your comment I would like to have a deeper look at it. Do you know if there is a version available with a good english translation?

For sure, we are progressing into an age where we don't feel the need to look to the priests for truth. I suppose that has always been so, there have just been fewer people who realised it. There had to be some kind of 'phoenix reborn' out of the struggles in the Kali Yug; our awakening to our true selves and the manifestation of that in our personal lives.
