Guest guest
Sat Nam, Thank you for your honest expression of anger in your post. In my humble opinion, I think that posters to the anger/impatience question were trying to respond from a kundalini yoga perspective. For me, the best way to get rid of inner anger from a KY perspective is to do the 'inner anger' kriya, which is punching the air while chanting har, har to the tantric har mantra. It's for 8 minutes and you sweat and you get a lot of stuff out. Also, what works for me is punching a heavy bag. Not a kundalini yoga solution, but it's the legal way of hitting something without hurting anyone. There used to be a therapy technique where you punch pillows or hit a pillow with a foam rubber baton. That's works because you're making contact with an inanimate object which can substitute for the real object of your anger. I don't believe in holding anger in, indefinitely, it will cause one to implode. But you need a safe way to release it without hurting yourself or someone else. As for impatience, I haven't found a solution for that one. It's harder to tackle than anger! Guest guest
Sat Nam Sunaina, Yogiji told us in the 1980s that we can allievate anger simply by chanting Jio Jio Jio until it goes. Jio is pronounced as G – O. It works! Blessings, Guruprem Kaur
