Sat Nam all,

Back in 1997, when I began teaching in earnest, I compiled an index of

kriyas and meditations for easy reference and in case a student asked

for a particular one. Amar Atma asked me recently if I'd share them

with the Kundalini Yoga Groups. The answer is " Yes, of course " , but I

thought I'd poll everyone first about format.

It occurs to me that we may be able to establish a " rolling index " to

which we all have access. Charles, or anyone, how do we set that up?

I have a two-drawer file cabinet which is about four feet long filled

with alphabetical folders of kriyas and meditations.

How do I set that up so that it can be referred to, added to by

whomever else wants to add to it?

Love and Blessings,

Ananda

Sat Nam Ananda,

I just found this site, it might work and you can decide who adds what

to it:

http://www.wetpaint.com/static/about

Wetpaint powers websites that tap the power of collaborative thinking.

The heart of the Wetpaint advantage is its ability to allow anyone —

especially those without technical skill — to create and contribute to

websites written for and by those who share a passion or interest. To

do this, Wetpaint combines the best aspects of wikis, blogs, forums

and social networks so anyone can click and type on the web.

........... Why not come up with a way to make it easy to share

information like this about anything: health, jobs, world events, or

hobbies? Why not create websites where real people with real

experience would become the experts and inspire others to contribute?

That's why we created Wetpaint. Yes, blogs make online publishing easy

— but blogs are monologues. And forums are great for question and

answers, but they're too hard to search. And wikis allow the reader to

become the writer, editor and fact-checker, but they're just too darn

hard to use for the average person. Wetpaint is different. With

Wetpaint, anyone with a passion can create an entirely new website and

invite others to help them build it. And it's easy — adding to a

Wetpaint site is as simple as click and type. And when you put

thousands of heads together to solve a problem, the results can be

astonishing. And we really believe that.

This is regarding the referenced subject line: Alpha Index of Kriyas and Meditations. And I don't know if i'm allowed to create colored and larger type for Groups. I just had another thought. Hesitant as I am to suggest to independently thinking yogis and yoginis something they did not create themselves -- nonetheless, I am breaching that procedure and suggesting something for everyone's consideration. Speaking of Records and Indices and Etc. I have always copied from e-mail, copied to Word, enlarged font face and printed out articles from the Kundalini Yoga Groups which interested me. Included are commentaries from Karta Purkh Singh who rarely comments, Dharam Singh, Dr. Dharma, Krishna Singh, and a hundred others - the Music Minister, Guruprem Kaur, Shakti Parwha, you know - a spectrum of individuals who have their own area of expertise, interests, history or who raise questions that lead to wonderful

research. I print them and three-hold punch them and put dividers or index tabs in front of them and I have yet to create an index -- for my own personal reference. Charles has contributed websites and articles and references that I'd hate to lose track of. So I don't. I squirrel them away, having printed them out, 3 hole punched, etc. etc. etc. until I can get time to read them in depth and look at the web sites. So that's my personal hell and heaven - to have all these notebooks, indices, manilla folders and file cabinets full of references. But if God ever calls and says I can get into heaven if I can just find that one Kriya -- I've got it nailed. He'll just have to wait until I can sift through and find it. So what? What's the point? Well just this. Let me put forth on the intellectual and spiritual waters that whoever really finds something that interests them in the

content of Kundalini Yoga Groups simply copy it from the e-mail to a Word document, enlarge the type, and put it somewhere. A stand up file folder. Why? No, I'm not trying to suggest how others may wish to live and I'm sure everyone is busy as anything. In future - we may all be better able to exchange among each other OR pull out our personal file preferences the content of which we just loved, and add it to a teachers' data bank. This is competitive with the KRI project; this is for quick reference by Students and Teachers. It would not be as extensive as the KRI project - no matter how many of us volunteer to help with that too -- Sat Nam Everyone, Ananda Anne Leggett Walker, MBACell: 214 629 5662Fax: 1 866 271 9890anne_leggettwalker

Well Sat Nam. Of course I just Sent and said in the lower part of my message "This is competitive with the KRI project." And Of course, I meant "This is NOT competitive with the KRI project." No comment. Sat Nam, Ananda Anne Leggett Walker, MBACell: 214 629 5662Fax: 1 866 271 9890anne_leggettwalker
