Guest guest
I will be attending my first summer solstice later this week. I am trying to minimize my packing and was wondering if a tarp or plastic under my tent is really needed. The seams for the floor of my tent are about 4-6 inches off the ground. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Sat Nam Jeannette it does rain there, better safe than sorry and while I have had a good tent I still find that sometimes it can leak ~who knows why...(: what I find works best for me is to bring a light tarp (for weight I cut mine a little larger than the floor of the tent) and I have it placed in the " inside " of my tent. When its placed outside the rain drips on the tarp & collects and has caused it to leak inside... now that its beeen placed inside everything stays nice and dry... just a thought (: many blessings Jiwan Shakti Kaur ______________________________\ ____ Don't pick lemons. Guest guest
Sat Nam I never use a tarp under my tent and it is always okay. You probably don't need one either, especially if your seams are off the ground. The last morning you can just lay it out to dry if there is a short rain storm. Usually not much rain to speak of, except on the last day of White Tantric. Hope you have a fantastic experience! p.s.
