Guest guest
Sat Nam Guru Jiwan, I did hear from Gurucharan Singh, and this is what he said: " It is the quality of calmness and " resurrection " from the finite to the infinite. So similar to the line of pit-pineal-7th chakra it is the capacity to live in the subtle state while in the earthy flows of life. " GSK I still don't understand how the tongue and lips correspond to the Sun and Moon in movement when chanting Wahe Guru Wahe Jio. Anyone? Help? Guest guest
Sat Nam Reinette -- Oftentimes the significance of yogic " causality " is connected by structures of archetype and myth. Sun and Moon are Male and Female. The tongue is " male " (ie., the Latin word for tongue is " lengua. " The Sanskrit word for the male sexual organ is " lingam. " Sanskrit is the root language of the Indo-European language system, and so these correlations are very meaningful in decoding the archetypal perceptions of wisdom that informed these early language insights. The mouth itself is like the yoni, and the words given birth from the heart (like a uterus) being fed prana and pavana by the lungs (like two ovaries) constitute a perfect mirror between the creative functions of the Word in the Upper Body, and the creative, reproductive functions of sexuality in the lower body. We really are created in the image of the divine, and our own structural psyche is miraculously elegant and beautiful. The Lips of the mouth are like the lips of the yoni, and reflect changes in mental and feeling temperament (frown or smile) as the moon reflects changes through the cycles from New Moon to Full Moon. It's not hard to intuit and gain a feeling for. It isn't about " hard science " it's about the illuminations of perceptual evolutions. As the tongue and the lips form speech, like sun and moon, they creating a living universe of discourse. Another notable instance is Ra Ma Da Sa, Sa Se So Hung. " Sun, Moon, Earth, Infinity in service to the Divine. THAT is WHAT we are. " Perhaps this may be helpful in relating insightfully to the " phenomenological structures " embedded within the mind-body-psyche, out of which yoga becomes possible. for many Blessings, Krishna Singh Kundalini-Yoga , " reinettefournier " <reinette wrote: > > Sat Nam Guru Jiwan, > I did hear from Gurucharan Singh, and this is what he said: > > " It is the quality of calmness and " resurrection " from the finite to the infinite.
