Sat Nam,

Yogiji once gave La La La La La continuously as a mantra for opening the heart. I suppose chanting Allah would help too!

And Wahe Guru is a good one—huge! Spread your arms up to the sky, to the wonder of the universe, and chant Wa from the navel, Hey from the heart, Gu at the third eye, relaxing Ru simultaneously down the nose to begin again while opening your heart to the heavens.

Loving Blessings to all,

Sat Nam

I have a few suggestions:

1. Guru Ram das mantra - pray to Guru Ram Das and your heart will

open. Also Ardas Bhaee.

2. I find, as recommended in Guru Ratten's bok, inhaling with a

whistle and exhaling laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa is wonderful;

i do it on long car journeys.

This works well for me - but try it out yourself because some mantras

i do not chant in the car, they make me too spaced out.

See what happens for you when you do it before you do it in the car!

3. I also use the Sat Kar- Tar mantra, with palms together at heart

centre on SAT

palms part, face forward in front of the shoulders on KAR, then on

TAR they push/move to the sides, into the aura, and end up palms face

away, shoulder height,by the end of TAR.

I find this particularly strong when chanted in a group.

4. There is a meditation called cross Heart Kirtan, and it is lovely,

but i can't remember where it is from. Perhaps some one else will

know, i thought maybe The Mind book or Master's Touch, but i can't

see it.

Enjoy!

Sat Nam,

The Wahe Guru Meditation for opening the heart, if done whole heartedly, need only be done once. But it is so great, use it as much as you like. You become vaster with each repetition.

Blessings,
