Guest guest
Sat Nam! I was wondering if anyone knows who sang the sadhana mantras on Tuesday, June 19, the day before Nirinjian Kaur Khalsa. Thanks! In Light, Roshan
Guest guest
Sat Nam, I think you may be referring to Chardi Kala Jatha, a group of 3 men who attended Miri Piri Academy and played an awesome Sadhana at Solstice with powerful male voices and thumping tablas. The Spirit Voyage table in the bazaar had a CD available a couple days later and I bought one -- it's really wonderful. The last I heard they were sold out, but I'm sure more will be available soon. Guest guest
Was it a young woman with a guitar? Sweet voice and presence? If so, that was Bachan Kaur, from Vancouver, I believe. I bought her Sadhana CD; it's fabulous.
Guest guest
Sat Nam,. On June 19th Sat Kirin Kaur from New York sang the Sadhana mantras. Marvelous!!!! I asked her to please make CD of them. (She has a number of other excellent CD's already, but these particular mantra melodies are new and have not yet been recorded.)
Guest guest
Sat Kirn Kaur from New York played and sang for sadhana on Tuesday with Kirn Jot, vocalist, guitarist Guru Sangat from Boston, Sat Atma on mandolin, Hargobind Singh from Virginia on tabla,Sahib-Amar Kaur (Bay Area) viola, yours truly (also Bay Area) on flute and other vocalists - Siri Vishnu Singh and I believe a couple of other singers.
