Guest guest
Sat Nam, Sat Avtar Kaur -- When Yogi Bhajan taught this mantra in the early 1970's, he said it was to open the heart (totally). With palms together at the heart center and eyes closed, one calls out with the deepest sense of longing. Resonate from the heart so that you feel the vibrations of the sound through the sternum into your hands. It's like the most resonant, mellow, mellow, intimate longing sound you're capable of expressing to your cosmic M-A-A-A-A-A. This is the " call " of a call-and-answer. You've got to put all your love into it. Then pause for a moment, and " answer " your call, as coming from her deep within you, in a lower tone, loving, with the reassuring presence that she always provides. Continue, and celebrate her presence within you.
