Guest guest
Sat Jagat Singh and I (we oversee the Solstice food) came up with this recipe a few years back. Solstice SoupThis recipe was originally for 15 gallons of soup. We’ve tried to cut it down proportionately, but you may need to experiment with the spices a bit. 1. Fill a 2 quart soup pot 5/6 full of water and bring to boil.2. Add equal amounts of chopped celery, potatoes, and onions until about 3/4 full. 3. Add spices: 1 tsp mild chili powder blend 1/4 tsp crushed red chili flakes 1/4 tsp ground red chilies 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp sea salt4. Boil soup on medium low heat approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour or until potatoes have cooked down to some degree and are becoming incorporated into the broth, stirring every 10 minutes.5. With 15 minutes of cooking time remaining add 1 tsp minced garlic and 4 T unrefined cooking oil.Blessings, Jot Singh It's not the life that matters-It's the courage you bring to it.The Three Laws of ProsperityBe kind to everyoneNever speak ill of anyoneNever speak ill of yourselfYogi Bhajanwww.khalsakirpans.comwww.lifeknives.com
