Guest guest
I'm having problems sitting in virassan during sadhana, and unfortunately I missed Awtar Kaur's excellent workshop at solstice. I had a few questions if anyone can help: Where does the heel go? On the butt or between the cheeks? Do you lean forward against the right thigh, or pull the spine straight? Are the hands in prayer pose against the breastbone, as they are when we tune in? Or can they be higher, if you're leaning forward against the right leg, for instance? How do you keep the lower spine from curving to the right? It seems this pose tilts the pelvis. What are the benefits of this pose? (Helps with the pain, lol) Any help is much appreciated. -Baba
