Guest guest
Sat Nam I am sorry for my 'defensive' response. It is written that Shakti Pad is the stage of 'adolesence' where every response may be met with grief or ecstasy. I guess that shows that I truly am at this challenging stage of finding my own way and following the original commitment that inspired me to follow these teachings. I can only try to keep up pure in heart to my original purpose and try and admit to what I don't know, which is a lot. How do we know the difference between the inner teacher and our own ego, and when that guidance is appropriate even when it may say that parts of this path may not be appropriate to ourselves? I am not sure but that is my vigilant practice, through surrender to my commitment, but also my doubt and uncertainty. Guest guest
Dear Ek Ong Kar Singh,Yogiji always said each of us was a teacher in his own right and no one could take that away from her or him. No one should stand in judgement of another's process, though many do. An experienced and intuitive teacher or guru will have the insight into a student's process and thus challenge him so he may move forward through the different stages (this is what poke, provoke, confront and elevate is all about). It is easy for others to make comments and judgements, but no one can know your own sincerity and commitment but yourself. So be at peace with it, do your practice, trust, pray and follow your heart. If you want to identify the ego, listen to whichever voice within stands in judgement of your actions and triggers shame, guilt, revenge, etc. God made you unique and you can only be yourself. Have fun teaching and let God do the doing...Love and blessings,Gurudass Singh
