Congratulations, we crossed the threshold of July (which was numeric

cycle of 5) – to arrive at this time in a month influenced by the

numeric cycle of 6 (appropriately enough August originally named

Sextilis in Latin, because it was the sixth month in the ancient Roman

calendar). Where in July we endured rapid movement of events, changes,

and some adventures, August is marked by social activity, rolls of

fairness and justice, all wrapped in trusting our vision and intuition.

 

As the eighth month of the Gregorian Calendar rolls out, think of your

breathing – breath work is extremely important this month as we

reorient toward our relationships with friends, family, and community.

Sacrifice may be needed as others will need your time and energy.

Acceptance and patience will be required.

 

6 is the arc line, the halo (element of light), the seat of intuition,

the place were the two brain hemispheres get balanced, called the

spirit mind. In balance, we can have a choice based on our deepest

notion. Tapping into unknown waters is about taking a risk, especially

in relating and exchanging spirit with others. Yet as we tap into our

intuition instead of our fears, which has to do with taking a chance,

we will experience ease with the unknown.

 

August is a good cycle to be involved in our communities, deepen our

connections, and deepen social and political involvement. If you feel

disconnected, initiate yourself to connect with yourself and others.

Try not to compare yourself to others and use your intuition versus

your standards and unrealistic ideals.

 

The physical home, and home responsibilities will require your
