Guest guest
Dear Siri Chand Kaur: The worst I have felt from practicing Kundalini Yoga regarding releasing toxins is feeling noxious, and that's also the worst I have heard any of my students feel as well in 12 years of teaching. No vomiting ever resulted, no sickness. It's not just the lack of water. We don't get sick simply because of releasing toxins unless we have lots of them... First the immune system has to be lowered and that's typically due to unconscious internal conflicts coming to consciousness. Drinking more water is the best suggestion to start with nevertheless. I would also ask her to meditate on what is coming to her consciousness about what could be bothering her at this time. It could be as simple as wondering what to do about her yoga teaching, Kundalini vs what she currently teaches and unsure where to go with it. Then it wouldn't be so much Kundalini Yoga that would be bringing on the sickness but her thought process around practicing it. That would make more sense than attributing sickness to the practice of KY alone. Many blessings, Awtar Singh Rochester, NY
