Sat Nam,

A person I know of has come down with Bells Palsy. Are there any

Kriyas and or Meditations that would help him overcome this? I know

that he has lost his job, and has no money, plus having this condition.

Here are some quotes from his live journal site:

" right side of my face felt swollen. Right half of lips, also feeling

numb, and my tongue feels thick and my taste buds are weird. It's all

diminished and metallic tasting, if food had sharps and flats, it's

all sharp, except for the flat part. It's like the effect of a face

coming down off a good shot of novicaine from a dentist visit. I'm

kind of puzzled, but not freaked out unless anything weirder comes

with it. But it is strange.

It's harder to move my mouth or articulate with any precision. I can't

close my eye or blink properly and it's a constant source of

irritation, and a blurry risk at blindness without proper care. It

tears constantly. I've lost the smile that I get complimented on. I

can't do that. It comes out as a deranged half-smirk. Most of the

foods at the hospital were fairly soft and squishy, like eggs, and

applesauce.

Apparently, I'm a textbook example of a thing that the neurologists

haven't seen much, before. This morning about nine of them stormed in

and surrounded the bed, led by a neurologist who began explaining what

it does, how it works, and then I did my circus face dance to

demonstrate it in action. They all stared, wide-eyed and fascinated,

and then filed out of the room in awe. "

Bells palsy is a condition that causes the facial muscles to weaken or

become paralyzed. It's caused by trauma to the 7th cranial nerve, and

is not permanent
