Journey into the Heart of Sikh Dharma

A small group experience deepening your Dharmic Understanding

and Spiritual Growth

Would you like to learn more about the technology and consciousness of Sikh Dharma? Would you like to go deeper into your own journey into Sikh lifestyle and experience?

Each year Sikh Dharma offers a tele-course called Journey into the Heart of Sikh Dharma. It offers a chance to explore one's personal consciousness in the context of a caring and connected virtual sanghat.

This course is facilitated by Mata Mandir Kaur and features many wise members of our community in a discovery process of the consciousness and technology of Sikh Dharma. It is geared toward the newcomer to Sikh Dharma & interested seeker as well as those interested in becoming ministers.

Join this course to enrich your relationship to the lifestyle of Sikh Dharma. In this small group Tele-Course, you will be guided by a facilitator and joined by expert teachers in many areas of the Dharma. The focus of the course is to deepen, discover and nurture your own experience with Sikh Consciousness.

 

This course provides a structured channel to help you expand your consciousness and deepen your knowledge of principles and practices of Sikh Dharma. Over the last seven years, this course has been a rich source of community, knowledge, and spiritual growth for people on all stages of the Sikh Path. Join us, share your heart and support others in the growth of consciousness as we Journey into the Heart of Sikh Dharma.

The course runs from September through April

Class meets twice a month for 2 hours on Monday evenings

This course includes exploration and discussion of:

 

Sikh Rehit Maryada (Sikh code of conduct & lifestyle practices)

Seva (selfless service)

Understanding the Banis (Daily Sikh Prayers)

History and Composition of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib

Gurbani, Gurmukhi, Naad Yoga and Nitnem (An exploration of the science and technology of sound current)

Experiences in Interpersonal Communication

The Formation of the Sikh Character through Sikh History

Dasvand and Prosperity Consciousness

Kundalini Yoga and Sikhism

Rites of Passage including Amrit, Marriage & Death Rituals

This course offers a rich experience of diversity in community. It is appropriate for those wanting to learn more about Sikhism and what it means to live Sikh Dharma, for those interested in becoming ministers, and for any yogis who want to deepen their understanding of the Sikh lifestyle, values and daily experience.
