Sat nam KY brothers and sisters,

I've come at a crossroads in my life where I now want to become a

trained yoga teacher. I have experienced many different forms of

yoga, and have narrowed it down to two yoga paths--Kundalini Yoga

Teacher Training and Hatha Yoga teacher training. I've always been

drawn to the kirtan aspect of Kundalini Yoga, and although I'm not

Sikh or know the language, I am passionate about the music, and know

many of the sacred chants by heart. It enlivens me every time I hear

them (Snatam Kaur, GuruGanesha and SatKirin Kaur are some artists I'm

particularly fond of). You could say I have fallen in love with the

chanting, and the words. I often have no idea what I'm saying, but

it just " feels right " . Would this be a sign that I'm perhaps more of

a Kundalini Yoga student/teacher than a Hatha, or simply that I'm

just a really, really big fan of the Kirtan?

Also, can you chant Sikh chants without actually being Sikh?

Sat nam!

Nadh Singh
