Yogi Bhajan was present for the opening ceremonies of the Gurdwara on Guru Ram Das' Birthday in 1982. Since that time, Guru Ram Das Gurdwara has continuously served not only the New England Sikh community in hosting Gurdwara events, but it has also served as a sadhana room and an uplifting yoga space for many yoga students who have gone on to enjoy teacher training in this same temple. Situated on 20 acres of green fields enhanced with tall evergreens and natural quiet, Guru Ram Das Ashram and Gurdwara brings peace and inspiration to those who come here. Twenty-five years after the Gurdwara's Opening Ceremony, we invite you to join in the blessing of rebuilding the temple foundation, floor and north wall so that we can continue to provide a serene and beautiful place for people to be upllifted by yoga, meditation, and divine music.foundation, floor and north wall so that we can continue to provide a serene and beautiful place for people to be upllifted by yoga, meditation, and divine music.
