The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) is holding its

next annual meeting, the Symposium on Yoga Therapy and Research

(SYTAR), on March 6-9, 2008 in Los Angeles.

This is the premiere Yoga therapy educational forum. SYTAR is the

only association event dedicated entirely to professional education,

research, practice and policy issues for Yoga therapy.

1. Learn from over 30 experts in the field

2. Hear about front line research and exceptional best practices

3. Share your Yoga therapy experience with your peers

The field of Yoga therapy is growing fast and there is no better time

to learn about emerging issues and stay abreast of the research.

The focal point of the SYTAR 2008 is learning through lectures, case

study presentations and practice sessions delivered by over 30 Yoga

therapy pioneers, Yoga researchers and health professionals.

Networking with Peers

One of the reasons SYTAR is important to you is to network with

colleagues. Whether you are a newcomer or a SYTAR veteran, you won't

want to miss this opportunity to meet with many like-minded

colleagues. At SYTAR 2008, networking begins early with eight

workshops on Thursday afternoon and followed by a complimentary

evening opening ceremony and welcome reception.

Call for Research Papers (Abstracts)

SYTAR 2008 offers opportunities for researchers and clinicians to

share important findings with the attendees. Last year we received

over 70 research papers (abstracts) and we are expecting many more for

SYTAR 2008. Abstracts for the conference will be selected for oral or

poster presentations. The deadline for abstract submission is November

1, 2007.
