Guest guest
I was driving out of the Adirondacks months ago and I heard this on a local NPR affiliate. I hope it broadens this discussion, or at least prompts some further thought and inquiry. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5015557 Sat Nam, Dharam Millis, MA "Believing there's no God means I can't really be forgiven except by kindness and faulty memories. That's good; it makes me want to be more thoughtful. I have to try to treat people right the first time around." --Penn Jilllette joan_stockman wrote: Sat Nam. I have no idea what it means to "kill God in the minds of children" but I know that extremism and intolerance are more dangerous to the minds of children than a movie based on a well respected series for children. My kids never took to the series - we have one or two on a bookshelf somewhere. But several of their teachers highly recommended The Golden Compass, et al, and I look forward to seeing the movie! (It looks good, doesn't it?) And I'll be sure to bring my kids! In love and light, Jiwan Kaur
