November 10, 2007 Sat Nam and Greetings from the Dasvandh Office,

The Siri Singh Sahib of Sikh Dharma, also known as Yogi Bhajan, spent his life teaching us how to serve and uplift. He said that by 2007 we had to be known for our service and this became the theme of the year in 2007.

But why is this so important? “We have entered the Age of Aquarius, things will be different, our world will be different, our politics will be different, our nations and the land and the boundaries will be different. It will happen. Changes are inevitable.”

Look around you – there is beauty, yes, but there is also great change. We live today in a world disrupted by planetary changes, political wars, and a world where things are moving and shifting incredibly fast. To keep up, we have to learn to be stable within ourselves and then carry that energy outwards to serve others.

The technology and teachings of Yogi Bhajan, the Siri Singh Sahib of Sikh Dharma, offer us important tools to do our part. We can be the forklifts, touch every heart and really make a change in the world.

This year I am so excited to share our beautiful Dasvandh Year End gift with you, a Video Presentation called Touch Every Heart: Be the Forklift. It is a testament of just how the powerful teachings of the Yogi Bhajan so positively affect the lives of thousands around the world. He taught first one person, then hundreds, then thousands.

Now those thousands – YOU – are changing the world through your sustenance, grit, commitment, character, divinity, dignity, grace, radiance, your service and seva all over the world.

With this video we are honored to show your work of Sikh Dharma teachers and ministers, and community all over the globe, as well as celebrate the work of other legacy organizations. We are also very excited to include Sikh Dharma International’s special new project – putting the Siri Singh Sahib’s Gurdwara lectures into broadcast quality video for television and cable access channel broadcast. In the Library of Teachings, there are approximately 8000 videos of which 1200 are Gurdwara videos which means we will be busy with this project for many years to come! Look for a link on our Dasvandh website later this year to the new Sikh Dharma International website, where these beautiful broadcast videos will be available, in their entirety as a service to the Global Community. “Our relationship can never be happy, if we do not keep on expanding. Touch every heart, bow your head, bless everybody, and you shall be blessed.”

The greatest seva, the mission Yogi Bhajan lived, was to touch every heart, to be the forklift. Sikh Dharma upholds this mission by serving those who serve the world.
