Guest guest
Sat Nam, Two meditations come to mind, on pg 170 of the Book " Kundalini Yoga " by Shakta Kaur Khalsa is Gan Pattee, Meditaion to make the impossible possible. I have had great success using this in all kinds of situations. On pg 162 of the same book, is the meditation Ten Steps To Peace, which can remove unsettling thoughts from the past that surface into the present and it can be done in forty seconds. Guest guest
Dear Ver Tips: The meditations suggested by Sat Avtar Kaur would be great! But whatever meditation is practiced, it is important for the person having difficulties with one's mother to also pay attention to their thoughts regarding their mother. The thoughts to one's mother always need to be loving and the way we see our mother always needs to be as a saint. The trick is to learn how to do that and it comes, with practice and with a large dose of humor. We also need to be honest about our own needs and take care of ourself. So if the mother talks too much or takes too much space, we need to tell her that we need some space or some time. We may need to leave her alone. We need to remain a whole person with our mother and not try to protect her from her own feelings. She may not be acting as a saint, that is not anyone's problem but hers. Our job is to see our mother as a saint. We need to hold that space. The rest needs to be blessed, given to God, forgiven... Guest guest
I used to have a difficult time with my Dad. If you´ve awakened Kundalini energy try mahan gyan mudra, it really empowered me to get through some difficult times with my Dad. This will fix the problem by transforming anger its action, to make you wise to foresee trouble and sidestep it befores it´s too late. I did this one for 3 years and it works everytime. 11mins. Lately Sat kriya and sodarshan (600+ days 22mins have really freed me from anger so I don´t sweat the small stuff that used to get under my skin and sat has an increasingly balancing effect, so that i can reach my potential. With sodarshan start with 5mins for the first 90days, go slow...pump lightly during period. -Wahe Guru -Chris Be a better pen pal. Text or chat with friends inside Mail. See how. Guest guest
I´ve got a question for you. I noticed that just like a few others, you have dealt with earlier problems that have traumatized you in the present. I wonder whether you have tried the meditation to cure addictions (placing fingers in temples, focusing on 3rd eye, chanting SAtaNAma) instead of sat kriya. I have found that doing both meditations is demanding on your shoulder muscles. Have you ever tried the addiction meditation, which one would have better results. By the way, i´ve tried sodarshan and know it works. I am unsure of symptoms to watch for, any advice will do. Guest guest
Sat Nam, I forgot to mention something that works very well with yoga and mantra. I use this method all the time and just recently, I cleared up memories and anger that happened 60 years ago between my parents and me. At this website, you can get a free pdf manual that will show you how to tap with your fingers on energy merdians on the face and hands and in 3 minutes clear anything up from emotion, colds, weight-loss, allergies, pain, headaches- you name it - you can do it. The Emofree website has a wonderful hugh data base, and when I looked up anger, I found some new insights, a new way of looking at what happened to me and even though it took 4 rounds (3 minutes each) of tapping. The release has been wonderful. Take a look at the method and do it all, chanting, yoga and EFT tapping. Sat Avtar Kaur
