In the last 10 days, I have been entered in an MTV2 contest, which has been very

exciting.

Monday, Nov. 26, 2007

 

Singer-songwriter/DJ/producer/keyboardist gfire has received 14,311 votes and

12th

place out of 138 Austin bands in the MTV2 " Bands On The Rise " contest. The

contest

ended yesterday, Sunday, November 25, 2007.

 

gfire received votes from as far away (from Austin) as Scotland, Seattle,

Boulder, California,

Baltimore and Michigan, and of course many, many votes from fans and friends in

the

greater Austin area.
