Guest guest
Hi, Isit possible to have someone from somewhere put some information on here about Guru Dev Singh and Sat Nam Rasayan. Is there a list somewhere of practitioners and teachers of Sat Nam Rasayan? I did find this website: http://www.gurudevsnr.com/ and Guru Dev Singh is apparently going to be in the US sometime March 2008? Not too much information is available or I haven't found it. Eckhart Tolle in his book " The Power of Now " , talks about entering an inner state " the Now " and connecting with what he calls the " Presence " (representing Beingness, God and a bunch of other names). I am wondering if this state Tolle talks about is not some what similar to the " Sacred Place " that Sat Nam Rasayan is about. (I am reading a book) In Tolle's connecting with the " Presence " state aka " The Now " it is possible to have situations, problems, resolved by a 'higher' power. {sorry words are so inadequate at times--I am not sure I am making myself clear}} I guess what I'd like to know, if a Sat Nam Rasayan practitioner - teacher has read Tolle's book and could possibly come up with an answer as to how close the states are or are not? It seems to me that a lot of teachers and writers are talking about the same thing, just using different words. Guest guest
Dear Sat Avtar Kaur: The two seem closely related but I don't think they are quite the same. In SNR you start by connecting to your sensations and letting go of any judgments and so on. You enter a space that is the now but with the help of Guru Ram Das and you transcend into the sacred space which is beyond sensation. The sacred space is a space where healing happens quicker and where knowing is instant. Being in the now is healing because you let go of past and future concerns. But being in the now is not necessarily supported by a master unless you request it. Once you are supported by a master, your space becomes specific to that master's purpose/destiny.
