Guest guest
Sat Nam and warm greetings from Espanola. We are in the last few weeks of our active 2008 IKYTA Membership Campaign. If you have not already done so, please be so kind as to take a few minutes to renew your membership or join IKYTA this week. (If you are paying through monthly electronic funds transfers - we have automatically renewed your membership for 2008.) To join or renew, http://www.kundaliniyoga.com About five years ago, in the spirit of continued spiritual and professional growth of Kundalini Yoga teachers, IKYTA started a very simple CEU Program (Continuing Education Units) for the United States and Canada. The great news is that the IKYTA CEU Program has now been expanded and it allows teachers to offer courses that provide CEU credits. The program is in alignment with Yoga Alliance, so CEU's can be used in both systems. Teachers who meet the following four criteria may teach courses that provide CEU credits: An IKYTA Professional Member in good standing. A Kundalini Yoga teacher who has completed a KRI Level 1 Teacher Training Course two years ago or more. A Kundalini Yoga teacher who has completed a minimum of 1,000 hours teaching since they complicated the KRI Level 1 course. A current Gurudakshina donor. (This is to honor the principle of giving back to the Golden Chain and contributing to the whole.) For more information on the IKYTA CEU Program along with the IKYTA CEU Application form, please go to http://urltea.com/2aun This new IKYTA CEU Program is another way that IKYTA is expanding service to our members in 2008. Professional Membership is open to all KRI Certified teachers. Associate Membership is open to students and friends of Kundalini Yoga. (If you started a Teacher Training program this fall, your Associate Membership will start in January and extend through December of 2008. If you attended the KRI Level 1 Immersion Course in Espanola last summer, you are already an Associate member will be so through December of 2008.) Go to http://www.kundaliniyoga.com to renew or join IKYTA in 2008. (Call us at 505-367-1313 if you have any questions.) We look forward to continuing working with our membership so that IKYTA can grow in value to Kundalini Yoga teachers everywhere. Thank you and blessings - Guruka Kaur
