Guest guest
Satnam, I got questions regarding the effects of the meditation to break the mask ( Level II, Module 2 Conscious communication manual p.167). As we are several doing it at the same time we could compare the effects, especially during the first 15 min. Number of us were suffocating... i usually have deep breath, I have been suffocating even after the meditation ; when started it first week was feeling like fish out of water...i did kept on, eventually it disappeared but some had to reduce the time. Many experienced heavy sweating, sensations of burning on the face that can last several hours (kind of same burning many caught on cheeks during white tantric)...and number felt depressed at different degrees. Some found it so hard that they stopped it for a while because they could not function in daily lifecorrectly. Now, in case of high blood pressure isn't too strenious on the system. One of us had an incident with loss of memory for a while and wonder if it can be linked... On my side all is good now, it is supporting me now, after 50 days...first month was really hard on me... Thanks
Guest guest
I like to work to my good maximum capacity and then extend it; when I work that way I maintain some point of reference (as opposed to ‘none’). I like to surrender into the sensations of the meditation whilst staying ‘with it’. Should one push oneself at one’s own peril, or should one build oneself..? Can one give one’s best – and make room for improvement..? I managed the 15 second intervals – and then I didn’t.. I had to take ‘refresher breaths’ occasionally, e.g. take a normal breath in between before attempting again the pranayama patterned breath. I loved the way the meditation changed my view. I think it initiates permanent shifts. Some of us found the second phase was easier.. I like Ram Singh’s track (from Paris) for the HAR JEE part.. Guest guest
Sat nam, Christine, I have not done this particular meditation - the mind wants to figure out and assign some description to the sensation and the experience - there is nothing to figure out & #8211; just be with your experience. in love and light a satnarayan Kundalini-Yoga , " kirti.singapore " <christine wrote: > > Satnam, > I got questions regarding the effects of the meditation to break the > mask ( Level II, Module 2 Conscious communication manual p.167). Guest guest
This meditation is the ONE which every teacher and student of CC has done or will do for a 90 days practice, so you may gets lots of inputs. We just finished CC in the NW USA and have been practicing the meditation for about 45 days. Most of us have found the meditation " challenging " AND based on its specifics purpose, I am not seeing why it would not be " challenging " . The experience of the " challenge " and knowing if you have pushed yourself " too far " ... " too fast " ...for your ability to " handle " the changes; difficult to discuss over emails. My experience is to gradually ease into the practice, in this situation, how long you are holding your breath for each of the three inhales. As I understand our practice of house holder yoga, we push/inspire ourselves to " practical perfection " . In this situation as I understand the posts, people need to function on a daily basis; so ease into it (do not skip any days, ease into the breath holding)...of course if you can afford the time and money to go on a 90 day retreat with all the assistance the body/mind needs...thats a different story. I am also guessing that people's breath capacity is limited with or without the meditation. Looking forward to others sharing their experience and knowledge. Appreciation.
