Hello,

I am Tony (or Anthony) and I am new to Kundalini Yoga. I am 23 years

old. I joined because I am interested in awakening kundalini. I

have been trying various things on my own, mainly things learned from

and/or inspired by Aleister Crowley (whose works introduced me to

yoga) and Sefer Yetzirah (from what I can understand so far). I only

recently got interested in the term kundalini when I found a book by

accident in a book store near where I used to live, a place id love

to move back to if I could ever afford it. I think the the book is

titled Kundalini which might include a subtitle. I only held it a

few times. Its a very thin book which would have taken me not even a

few hours to read but took me a couple days due to time being an

issue. I had seen the term kundalini come up many times though.

Only I always called it something else, whatever term I fancied at

any given time.

I dont believe I have managed to awaken kundalini yet I fit some of

the symptoms describing its awkening such as termbling, sudden

movements and spontaneousely doing various things. Out of impulse I

found myself doing things I had learned about only after the fact.

One example being a gesture used by kabbalists. Ive seen the

frightening visions but not the visions of bliss or maybe very few.

I was wondering what some one could tell me about that, if anything,

because I dont feel very new on many levels. I am here in particular

because I would like to accomplish my goals through yoga because

right now I dont have the time to practice the elaborate rituals of

ceremonial magick (my main interest) because certain yoga practices I

can practice anywhere anytime I have a few minutes to myself.

Simply put I practice solitary and my aim is to, through yoga, awaken

attain Knowledge (union) and Conversation of my Holy Guardian Angel

which I guess parallels awakening Kundalini.

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Thank you very much.

Tony

SHRI SHRIGURAVE NAMAHA

Param Pujya Shri Narayankaka Dhekane Maharaj would like to invite everyone on this earth to participate in a Global Introductory Trial of Mahayoga Shaktipat (Siddhayoga) for the uplift of all humankind. This introductory trial will be held on February 10th, 2008, from 6:11 am to 6:32 am local time. Those interested can participate during that time at no cost from the privacy of their own homes. All are eligible to participate in this trial regardless of religion, race, sex, age, caste or creed. This world-wide trial can be considered to be a "trailer" or a precursor for the awakening of one's Kundalini Shakti (Universal Life Energy) through Shaktipat (transfer of Energy) from a Siddha Yoga Master. It is a rare opportunity to experience first-hand such a transmission of Energy from a Siddha Guru.

Here's how to participate:

At the designated time (February 10th, 2008 from 6:11 am to 6:32 am local time) sit comfortably with your eyes closed in a quiet location in your home. Instantly observe a wave of energy along your spinal column.

Relax your body completely in order to minimize the awareness of your body.

Let your mind observe your involuntary breathing.

Observe your experiences during the designated time interval and please report them by e-mail to P. P. Narayankaka Maharaj at (mahayoga_kaka).

India, from time immemorial, has considered our world as one nation, with Prana Shakti/Universal Life Energy as the common basis for all human beings. P. P. Narayankaka Maharaj intends to demonstrate our Universal Brotherhood through this Global Trial of Mahayoga Shaktipat.

P. P. Shri Narayankaka Dhekane Maharaj (Kaka Maharaj) is a leading teacher and proponent of Mahayoga (Siddhayoga), a centuries-old tradition of spiritualism and Yoga that guides its followers to spiritual self-realization, while continuing to live productive lives in society. He is the only living disciple of P. P. Shri Loknath Tirth Swami Maharaj, who initiated other leading 20th century luminaries of Siddha Yoga, including P. P. Shri Gulvani Maharaj. Kaka Maharaj's objective is to spread the practice of Siddhayoga through Shaktipat, at no cost, so that as many people as possible can achieve spiritual self-realization, thus making the world more peaceful and serene.

More details of Mahayoga (Siddhayoga) can be found at (www.kundalinishaktipatayoga.net).
