Guest guest
I just heard on the news today that scientists found out that women and men process feelings and emotional experiences differently. Women process both on the same side of the brain while men process them on different sides of the brain. In other words, women can access both more easily and faster. Thus they can multitask better. I am not advocating multitasking but sometimes in our lives we need to integrate all of our faculties synergistically at once. When we can access different parts of our brain more efficiently, then we can work more efficiently. GuruBandhu
Guest guest
Sat Nam, Having worked in brain imaging research for the past 25 years, I would advise taking these studies with a grain of salt. I have read studies that contradict each other and both were done quite well. If I see a series of studies that come up with the same results then I start to believe that we have figured something out. More and more studies are showing sex differences in brain functioning, but stating that this means something in particular is problematic. Why do you think that using one side of the brain rather than both makes access easier and faster? Perhaps using both sides is more efficient, perhaps not. I realize most people don't run scientific studies and therefore may be more trusting of articles they read.
