Guest guest
Dear Kundalini-Yoga Group Today I spoke to an acupuncturist friend of mine whom I asked whether people's characters can be augmented with acupuncture. He responded by saying that he could do it. I asked him how he would go about making an adjustment to someone's tendency to lie or fabricate when in certain situations. He alluded to the fact that everyone represents a unique case but that it is possible through the balance of the kidney channel to help such a person. Then he explained a little about the different organs of the body and how these organ may correspond to different states of mind or attitudes of their character. In some KY books that I have many bodily organs are mentioned when practicing certain groups of kriyas. I have done kriyas to balance the liver or the thyroid but never, until now, have I thought about what effect these kriyas would have on my character or personality. Usually, I just do the exercises and then feel good afterwards. So, my question is whether someone else has experienced their own changes in their character through KY or whether they have seen changes in others.
