Guest guest
Sat Nam Sit in Easy Pose with a straight spine (or on a hard chair with feet flat on the floor). Extend arms straight forward parallel to the ground. Close the right hand in a fist and wrap the fingers of your left hand around it. The bases of your palms are touching, thumbs together and pulled up straight. Eyes focussed on the thumbs. Inhale for 5 seconds and without pausing, exhale for 5 seconds. Suspend the breath out for 15 seconds. Continue the cycle, starting with 3-5 minutes and working up to 11 minutes. Progress slowly. You can also work up to suspending the breath out for up to one full minute. Yogi Bhajan taught this meditation in 1979. Guest guest
Dear Michael: > > Does anyone have a kriya for alleviating depression? > Do you have or can you buy the Kundalini Yoga manual: Infinity and Me complied by Harijot Kaur. The first set in that manual is called " A Basic Set " It readjusts the hips which Yogi Bhajan said is where the source of depression is.
