I remember something about chewing so many times and swishing the food around the mouth? My Naturopathic Doctor has suggested that this would be a great practice for me. The below suggestions are not for while you are chewing but thought this might be info you would like to have nonetheless. I have heard that Yogi Bhajan told people to chant in monotone “Raj jog takhat deuhn Guru Ram Das” in monotone over a meal 108 times before eating/serving. But this is just something I heard from many people. I’ve never seen it written anywhere or heard it in a Yogi Bhajan lecture. Perhaps someone in the group can verify. My guess is this is to purify the vibration and put the name in it. The full shabd is used for transforming, clearing your environments. This is just the first line. He told a friend of mine once to chant “guru guru wahe guru guru ram das guru” in a monotone over his food while making it. He said it being in monotone would steady the person’s personality.
