Oprah is featuring his book, A New Earth, in her book club as well as

doing a worldwide web-seminar (webinar?. I have started reading and

watched the first installment of the 10-week class (1 1/2 hrs every

Monday) and it is amazing. Because of it's spiritual nature, and how

much it is in Yogi Bhajan's teachings. As I read and watched, I found

myself thinking (with maybe a wee bit of ego), " Yeah, I know that "

but I am also re-awakened and reminded to(ahem)do it! I am awed and

so profoundly grateful and humbled by the teachings we have.

Sat Nam Siri Devta~

I too have been following along with the book and the

process shared on Mondays with Oprah,

and I agree with you, it is awesome!

A friend shared it with me and I shared it with many

of my friends....it is something worth checking out.

The book is called " A new earth, discovering your

life's purpose " by Eckhart Tolle

You can go online to

Oprah.com

and listen to the class anytime (live it is played on

monday's in the PM for 1 1/2 hours)

For those that are interested in going deeper with the

book but choose not to spend their time listening to

the broadcast, I still suggest that you go on her

website each week (for 10 weeks) and download the

homework...so far I have found it to be an awesome

process, definetly worth sharing (:

in love, prayer and gratitude ~ Jiwan Shakti Kaur

Hi Siri Devta,

Have been also following E.T.'s work for some time now. Do appreciate

his teachings, as like you said they corrolate with KY and also with

another teaching I follow, I like his very detailed descriptions of

how to get into this state of being the REAL Self. Heard about this

event with Oprah, and am just so excited about how many people

participated! How did you like it? What was it like?

Just loved reading his intro. in the one book where he shared how he

originally got into this state...though -- wish it was so easy -- but

think it is different for everyone.

I also like Dr. David Hawkins a lot -- his book " Transcending The

Levels of Consciousness " is just fantastic. And I follow a teaching

Concept Therapy which is so parallel to KY, but doesn't have the

meditations/exercises to raise a persons vibration and clear out

negative energy. It does though go very in-depth about how to use

your thoughts to maintain perfect health, and how each body system is

effected by different thoughts.

For me, I have found that any one study hasn't held everthing, but a

lot of good things!

Would like to hear about your experiences with the event!

: ) Christine

Eckhart Tolle's appearance with Oprah is nothing short of a comment I

read on one of these KY email lists... " holy hundreth monkey! " (thank

you to whomever posted that!)

I am astounded that this is occurring in my lifetime...not Eckhart and

Oprah, but the shift...I did not know it would come so soon. Oh My

God-ness!

I urge all of you to listen and watch...it's free at oprah.com. You

are right...we will be needed greatly in the coming years as mass

consciousness shifts, and our brothers and sisters on this planet seek

out transformative services.

Also on soundstrue.com are other live webcasts of Eckhart...even more

amazing than the Oprah material (so far). He did a few live

appearances recently, and you can purchase them for download there. We

bought them all...really great stuff and aligned with the teachings of

Yogi Bhajan and masters throughout history around the world.

It's happening folks...get ready! Gives me chills every day.

Peace,

Laurie in Seattle

Thanks for mentioning this webcast! I don't normally tune in to Oprah

and I'd never heard of Eckhart Tolle, but this series is definitely

worth giving a listen. People from all over the world are calling in

on Skype to ask questions that are adding enormously to the depth of

the discussion. By chapter 5, it really picks up as they delve into

what he calls the " pain body " , an unpleasant part of the ego, and

likened to your karma. Chapter 6 is how to disarm that black cloud. I

think it'll be chapter 8 on Monday night, but the old broadcasts are

available to watch at your leisure.
